Hues of the High Desert Collection

Our inaugural collection, Hues of the High Desert, pays homage to the enchanting beauty of the high desert landscape, a landscape of sagebrush, tumbleweed, & Apache plume, of dust, flowering cactus, & vast blue skies.

From her childhood home built at the edge of wilderness, Briana looked west over a seemingly endless valley toward the stunning New Mexico sunsets. This collection recalls the awe felt by a child growing up in that landscape. The muted, earthen palette of desert colors brings to life nine dreamlike patterns offered on wallpaper & fabric:

Apache Plume captures the repetition of the iconic Apache plume shrub against the open sky. Available in two colorways, Dusty Blue & Pine.

Big Sagebrush is an interpretation of sagebrush against a background of dry earth. Available in two colorways, Abobe & Wheat.

Cactus Wren suggests the mercurial flight of the cactus wren. Available in two colorways, Quartz & Dust.

Campanula reflects the shadows of desert bluebells growing in the hot sun. Available in four colorways: Violet, Clay, Dawn & Sand.

Canyon Bloom celebrates flowers that bloom in the dry canyon earth. Available in two colorways, Terracotta & Umber.

Desert Flowers is a large repeat of playful, native wildflowers. Available in two colorways, Sage & Mica.

Desert Rose is an abstract floral mural of windswept pinks over muted earth tones.  Available in two colorways, Tumbleweed & Juniper.

Forever Flowers is a mural of dried flowers hanging delicately in the sun. Available in two colorways, Canyon & Sienna.

Hillside Flowers is an ascent of wildflowers growing freely on a desert hill.  Available in two colorways, Rosewood & Moss.

“My parents built our house on a rural desert hill. As a little girl I would take walks in the dusty land that was our backyard. The kinship I felt with that land has grounded me my entire life. That visual environment instilled a dreaminess in me that I carry into the color story that inspires BRIANA DEVOE.”
